Put Things into Perspective.

You don't you were in the golden days until they are gone. My android TV box broke about three weeks ago. I had it all! Streamed TV, live football, even newly released films in HD. The works, I tells ya! All for just a one-off payment of the equivalence to just under £30. I discovered so many great series it was untrue. Boredom was merely a thing of the past. But as I mentioned... the TV box is gone.

Thus, I have ventured back into the treacherous realms of YouTube addiction and other such fanciful things like Facebook and, dare I say, Twitter. One thing in particular I have revisited is all of my favourite old stand up comedians. One in particular made me think when I was on the Facebooks.

Zayn decided he was too old for this shit.
I don't own the rights to this image - thank God.
Micky Flanagan made a joke about how he got out of the dog house because the terrorist attack on September 11th put things into perspective and made the quarrel between him and his wife seem petty. I couldn't help but picture his words whilst I was scanning Facebook, which was covered in cries of utter disbelief at Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson getting the boot for violent conduct and one of the One Direction lads decided to call it a day. OK, everyone is entitled to blab about whatever is on their mind, but it must be said that I noticed that the amount of blab over Jezzo and Zayn (dubbed the Jezzayn debacle) sorely exceeded the blabiture of the Alps disaster.

It feels weird that after such a horrific tragedy that happened just a day or two before seemingly had far less impact and effect on peoples' emotions. Obviously, the people in the plane may not have had any influence on your life, and there is very little to be done about it now, but for there to be far more public uproar about celebrity falling outs just shows you where folks heads be at. A man got fired for throwing a punch at a colleague after other numerous sketchy misdemeanors? Unbelievable!

And the other apparently newsworthy item of showbiz bolshevik is the equivalent of discovering that a Hanson brother was adopted and has dyed his hair just to keep the memories of Mmm bop alive in all of our collective hearts. I hadn't even heard anything about One Direction for months. Can anyone smell a PR scandal in play?Conspiracy...

Oh yeah, there something about Blink 182, too. Matt Skiba is better, anyway.

Here is the link to the Micky Flanagan YouTube video. Mind the moments of filth, as he is a bit of a cheeky cockney. Definitely worth the watch.
